The headline — 30 years of unregistered catalogue

The single biggest item on this label. The Vibez back catalogue was never properly registered with PPL / PRS / MCPS. That means decades of broadcast, public-performance and mechanical income has been leaking — unclaimed, not lost to anyone else, just never collected. Treat Vibez as a new label registration and work backwards through the catalogue.

The fix is now in motion. The PPL rightsholder join is in flight and issues our own ISRC registrant prefix. Once it lands we can mint codes for the back catalogue and register it properly — recording side (PPL) and composition side (PRS/MCPS). This is the highest-value work on Vibez, ahead of any new release.

Why this beats promotion: a perfectly-promoted release with broken registrations leaks for the catalogue's lifetime. A modestly-promoted release with clean registrations earns for decades. Vibez is 30 years of the second problem waiting to be fixed.

⚑ CHECK DAVE'S PPL STATUS — before we register anything. Three separate questions, and each changes what we do:

Is Dave a PPL performer member? He performed on 30 years of this catalogue. If he's never been registered, there is unclaimed performer money sitting at PPL in his name — that's his, paid direct, and it does not flow through any label. PPL back-claims are time-limited, so this is worth checking early.
Is Dave a PPL recording rightsholder member, and is any Vibez catalogue already registered under him? If it is, V360 registering the same recordings creates a double-claim that jams payment for both of us. We need to know what already exists before we file.
What's registered vs what isn't? Pull the picture first, then register only the gaps — and agree with Dave who holds what going forward.

AI music checker on the 28 WAVs — parked at JR's call. Worth remembering our detector run flagged genuinely human Subject 13 material as "hybrid", so treat any result as advisory only; Vibez's AI status is simply none.

Reissue logic: the catalogue is an active income source, not a warehouse. Prioritise (1) blocks with no digital presence, (2) titles with heritage/collector demand, (3) anything a sync brief could reach for.

Release schedule — next EP

⚠️ The "July 2026" window has passed. It's 23 July and nothing is delivered — the next EP needs re-dating, now. Not a failure, just arithmetic: street dates are the trigger, not the start, and the lead times below can't be compressed.

Timing tension: a sub-license takes 3–6 months to close and the shows are autumn/winter. Every week without a green light narrows the window to land release + press + live together.

30th anniversary — the cultural moment

Vibez's 30th (2025/26) is a genuine moment, and it lands while atmospheric jungle is having a broad revival. Format still TBD — options worth weighing: anniversary compilation (curated, remastered), a reissue run of the strongest unavailable titles, a box set, an Expansions anniversary night, or a documentary/archive piece.

Solomon's read: the anniversary is the natural hanger for the reissue programme and the registration work — it gives a public reason to put the catalogue back in front of people at exactly the moment the sync market is buying this sound. decision: JR + Dave

Sync — heritage catalogue is pitchable

Vibez is AI-free, which is now a commercial advantage: no AI provenance questions, no indemnity friction. Combined with Subject 13, this is the clean end of our sync offer — and it's the sound currently turning up on TV advertising.

Pipeline, targets and templates live on the V360 Sync hub. Same gate applies: no pitching until the catalogue is registered — a sync deal triggers rights due-diligence, and unregistered catalogue fails it.

Japan green light
